Vendor Spotlight: Getting To Know The Copper Quail
The Copper Quail is a mother-daughter team. They lead the vintage decor rental sector of the Chattanooga wedding industry. TCQ has an ever-evolving inventory of delicate vintage rentals. These pieces can be uniquely arranged to match your style. Personally, I love how they use vintage pieces to create a unique bohemian feel. This style fits beautifully into Chattanooga's Appalachian Mountain aesthetic.
Meet the Designers
Lisa and Anna have both always had a love for all things vintage. But, the idea to form The Copper Quail came when Anna was preparing to move back to the States after living abroad. She was thinking deeply about how she wanted to shape her career. When she returned, she stumbled upon the idea of a vintage rental company. The idea just wouldn't leave her mind!
Anna inherited her love of vintage heirlooms from her mother, Lisa. They already had a tight bond. So it only made sense for them to go into business together. Lisa loved the idea too... so they went for it!
They started out renting out pieces they already had around the house. They knew they didn't have the inventory of their dreams. But they decided there's only one way to get there... put in the work. And so The Copper Quail was born.
The team has loved getting to know other vendors in the Chattanooga area. "We've become friends with some pretty amazing fellow wedding vendors! It truly takes a village to put on a beautiful wedding. We enjoy getting to be creative with fellow vendors."
Design Inspiration
Lisa and Anna can draw inspiration from just about anything. Home decor, fashion week, nature, or the unique dream of a bride. The team pays close attention to color, texture, and balance when planning out their designs.
They are often inspired by a challenge and love bringing a couple's unique vision to life. To TCQ, the beauty of working in the wedding industry lies in the variety of styles, color palettes, and vibes.
Anna describes, " It's rewarding to see something that started as an idea and a conversation grow into a full-time business. Sometimes we're so busy it feels like we can barely keep up! We’ve both grown a lot, both creatively."
The beauty of working in the wedding industry, and specifically in the aesthetics of weddings, is that it is a lot of fun to get to work on events that have different styles, color palettes, and vibes. The variety is one of our favorite parts! Our favorite events to work are the ones we have created Design Blueprints for. For these events, we were intimately involved in pulling all the aesthetic details together, which makes it very rewarding to see our designs come to life on the day of the wedding. It is very rewarding to see something that started as an idea and a conversation grow into a full-time business that sometimes it feels like we can barely keep up with!

Anna and Lisa gush about the amazing clients they've been blessed to work with. Overall, they're pretty easy-going. But when it comes to design, they most enjoy working with brides that communicate their style and vision... but are willing to let us think outside the box to create a design that is truly unique.

The Copper Quail is always looking to add things to our inventory that aren’t currently available in Chattanooga.
Their Design & Styling services allow our brides the opportunity to not only pull from our fun inventory but have our design expertise making sure the whole event is designed and styled to perfection!
How to Work with The Copper Quail
The Copper Quail ladies book up... fast. They recommend reading out as soon as possible! For rentals, we have a large enough inventory that we can do multiple weddings each weekend. But if you have a favorite piece that your heart is set on... then reach out to reserve them ASAP.
The gals take a limited amount of clients per year for their design blueprint and day-of-styling services. So if this is something that sounds appealing to you, don't hesitate!
